Twin Peaks Lodge sits on the quiet shores of a private lake in St. David, Maine — far from the crowds, close to everything that matters. We've been welcoming families, couples, and solo travelers for decades, offering rooms that feel more like a home you never want to leave.
No resort politics. No rushed check-ins. Just clean rooms, a genuine welcome, and the kind of stillness that makes you forget your phone exists.

The Experience
Paddle the private lake at your own pace. We provide equipment and basic instruction — no experience needed.
Miles of private trails wind through old-growth forest, past hidden ponds and rocky outcroppings with lake views.
Perch, bass, and trout in our lake. Bring your gear or borrow one from the lodge — we stock basic tackle too.
Zero light pollution means the Milky Way is visible from the deck. We keep blankets and a telescope by the fire pit.
Every night, the fire pit by the lake is lit and ready. S'mores supplies included. Conversation optional.
Loons at dawn, moose at dusk, eagles overhead. The lodge sits in a protected wildlife corridor — you'll see more than you expect.
Location
Nestled in Aroostook County, St. David is one of those places that doesn't advertise itself. It's about 90 minutes from Presque Isle, surrounded by state wildlife management areas, and close to some of Maine's most underrated hiking and fishing.
